Apple vs. Microsoft

Everybody's heard of the "I'm a Mac" and "I'm a PC" commercials. So, who does really win the battle over technology? The truth is, you really cannot compare the two. The main thing that people do not understand about Microsoft is that it is a software company. In reality, you can't really compare a MacBook Air with a copy on Windows 7 Ultimate. Microsoft created Windows, which is a computer operating system. Companies like Dell, Alienware, and Gateway creates the actual "computer." However, Apple creates their own hardware and software. With everything working with the same system, you are the least accessible to viruses then compared to a PC. On the otherhand, you cannot customize your own Mac with different kinds of graphics cards and processors. With a PC, you can take it apart and customize it anyway you like. We think the main reason that people love Apple more than Microsoft is because of how their hardware looks. The Mac's are more stylish and cool, while PC's are more susceptible to viruses and are more clunky. Apple focused their market on how appealing their products looked to the eye, while they could run everything almost to perfection. So while Apple beats Microsoft in hardware, Microsoft beats them with the Windows operating system. With that said, we cannot really tell who would win the fight. All we know is that their rivalry has revolutionized our world in technology.
